NICHCY NICHCY is a national information center that provides information on disabilities and disability related issues, focusing on children and youth, birth to age 22. Kids Together, Inc. Information & resources on inclusion, children & adults with disabilities,and advocacy suggestions based upon current law. Center for Law and Education CLE works to vindicate the rights of students with disabilities, emphasizing low-income children and youth. It participates in litigation, federal and state legislative advocacy, and technical assistance to attorneys and parents. IDEA Contains the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Amendments of 1997, the source law for many of the rights of the disabled student. The Federal Resource Center for Special Education Special education technical assistance project funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, and is part of the Regional Resource and Federal Centers Network. Brain Injury Association USA Home Page Promotes awareness, understanding and prevention of brain injury through education, advocacy, research grants and community support services that lead toward reduced incidence and improved outcomes of children and adults with brain injuries.
